Brief Description: This project, delivered in a restricted urban location, involved the design and build of a five storey 160 bed modern day energy efficient sustainable NZEB nursing home. A reinforced waterproofed carpark was provided at basement level and retail units at the ground floor level.

The main frame of the building was built using reinforced concrete columns and beams which supported pre-cast floor slabs and stairs.

The exterior of the building was finished using a combination of limestone cladding, insulated render and solar responsive insulated glass. A panoramic view café was provided at roof level.

The building was delivered to a sustainable BER rating of A2 and NZEB standard. Throughout the works due attention was paid to all aspect of a HSEQ nature. The project was handed over to the satisfaction of the client, on time and within budget.
