Brief Description: The construction of a new environmentally friendly sustainable 1,000 pupil college of an area of 10,400m2 including SEN unit. A new General Purpose Hall and a Physical Education Gymnasium was also provided as part of the works.

All works were executed and delivered to a very high standard of NZEB and A2 BER energy efficiency. Full advantage was taken of natural heating and ventilation opportunities, which was all proven using BIM Dynamic Simulation technology.

Hard and soft landscaping was provided to the exterior of the school which included grass surfaced GAA football pitch, ball courts, running tracks, new trees, shrubs and green areas which were all designed to absorb CO2.

The project was handed over to the satisfaction of the design team and the client.
